EFVET - European Forum of Technical and Vocational Education and Training

EFVET - European Forum of Technical and Vocational Education and Training is a unique European-wide professional association which has been created to promote quality and innovation in Technical and Vocational Education and Training throughout Europe, to develop mutual co-operation and sharing of good practice, and influence in European vocational education policy. EFVET was developed with the support of the European Commission.

EFVET was developed with the support of the European Commission.

EFVET - European Forum of Technical and Vocational Education and Training is part of the European Civil Society Platform on Lifelong Learning (EUCIS-LLL) that promotes European-wide cooperation among civil society organizations that contribute to the policy implementation of the European Union. EUCIS is made up of 33 European networks active in education and training in order to build a citizen’s voice on lifelong learning issues and to propose concrete solutions based on the expertise, the competencies and the experience of its networks’ experts and practitioners.

Some of these organizations are the European Association for the Education of Adults (EAEA), The European Distance and E-Learning Network (EDEN), or European University Continuing Education Network (EUCEN) that work with EFVET, the European Forum of Technical and Vocational Education and Training, and other organizations though the EUCIS platform in order to reinforce the validation of continuing education and training for adults, among other projects.

In 2009 Bircham International University beccame a member of EFVET - European Forum of Technical and Vocational Education and Training.
