Founded in Australia 1999, the International Accreditation and Recognition Council (IARC) is a not-for-profit education management association run by an elected committee. IARC provides opportunities for quality focussed like-minded institutions and educators to network and collaborate, functioning to outline benchmarks for excellence in education.
Founded in Australia 1999, the International Accreditation and Recognition Council (IARC) is a not-for-profit education management association run by an elected committee. IARC provides opportunities for quality focussed like-minded institutions and educators to network and collaborate, functioning to outline benchmarks for excellence in education.
IARC's, the International Accreditation & Recognition Council, primary purpose is to provide a simple recognition and accreditation system for distinguishing quality, post secondary education. This includes, but is not limited to, vocational, distance, adult and continuing education in the international education industry. As IARC is a global organisation, we operate independently from the Australian government.
IARC, the International Accreditation & Recognition Council, focuses on ensuring quality and consistency of courses and services provided by its member’s schools, colleges, universities and institutions. IARC actively works with those education establishments. Annual auditing and school visits are examples of this. Recognition by IARC's, the International Accreditation & Recognition Council, provides an assurance that a member institution has satisfied a set of academic, ethical and operational standards. IARC standards are unanimously agreed upon by the committee and members.
Along the whole year 2003, IARC's, the International Accreditation & Recognition Council, conducted a through review of Bircham International University procedures and institutional accountability. Finally, in 2004, Bircham International got recognition from IARC. This accreditation is renewed on yearly basis after careful and systematic examination of any new procedures or institutional changes. IARC recognition and accreditation has helped BIU to meet the educational standards followed by many colleges and universities in the UK, the Commonwealth countries, mostly Australia where IARC is based, and the Pacific region.
