The IEEE Education Society has the mission to foster technological innovation and excellence to benefit humanity requires the talents and perspectives of people with different personal, cultural, and disciplinary backgrounds. It is committed to advancing diversity in the technical profession, and to promoting an inclusive and equitable culture in its activities and programs that welcomes, engages and rewards those who contribute to the field without regard to race, religion, gender, disability, age, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression.
The IEEE Education Society was founded in 1957. It is a worldwide community of professionals dedicated to ensuring high-quality theory and practice of education and educational technology involved in the effective delivery of domain knowledge of all fields. It is part of the IEEE consortium, the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers.
In 2021, William Martin was admitted as member of IEEE Education Society on behalf of Bircham International University. BIU graduates in the fields of education and education technology are encouraged to become members of the Education Society and benefit from its resources and networking.
