APPE, the Association for Practical and Professional Ethics, fosters moral reasoning skill development, works to promote ethical conduct in all sectors of our daily lives, nurtures the next generation of ethical leaders, and seeks to advance civil public discourse on diverse ethical issues.

APPE members join a diverse collegial network of scholars, students, researchers, and professionals from around the globe dedicated to practical and professional ethics. APPE is one of the largest multidisciplinary, multisectoral membership organizations in the United States and engages ethics centers from over 80 colleges and universities.  APPE members come from nearly all 50 states and 7 countries on 3 continents.

In 2021, Bircham International University joined the APPE, the Association for Practical and Professional Ethics.
